I think I want an unobtrusive black plastic air dam. I'm thinking of something maybe 3" tall that wouldn't be too noticable or out-of-place on a stock-appearing coupe. Does anyone know of anything like that on the market, or maybe something off a later model vehicle that could be adapted with relative ease? Pics would be great if you have one on your car.

ive seen ppl use the stock 69-70 front air dam... its ok at best. it just looks out of place. anything more than that is way too much imo.

what companies were you looking into?

I've looked at Mustang Depot, NPD, Mustangs Unlimited, and done some general web searches. Mustangs Unltd has a ABS model for a '67-'68 that looks pretty good, but I wasn't sure how it would fit a '66 and how it would look on the car. Isn't the front valence on a '67 a little wider?

Virginia Classic Mustang carries a bolt on front spoiler for '65 - '66.

Also, Jakes Rod Shop said they would produce a custom aluminum spoiler for early model Mustangs, but needs a local car to make the template.
