air flow obstruction

Take it out? Leave it in?

Supposed to be good for 4-7 hp if you remove it.

Take it out several people have and no problems reported so far. If you want to go whole hog C&L has new intake that is supposed to rock.

Hydrocarbon trap. It prevents hydrocarbons from escaping back through the intake.

it stops gas fumes from getting out of the engine giving the car a lower epa rating

i had no idea what a hydrocarbon was until i read about the new mustang maybe some people (me before) would still not know what it was for

Just for those who still aren't sure, hydrocarbons are all the little important bits in gasoline and motor oil. I hope that wasn't too technical for anyone...

Who's C&L? Do you have a web address for them?

MMR is supposed to have one as well.
