i am trying to install a faze air/fuel gauge and it says that i need to put it on a wire that goes from the oxygen sensor to the computer. i have an extra sensor in an extra bung right now is there anyway i can use that if not could someone tell me which wire i need to use for this?

if anyone has a haynes manual could they please take a good pic of the page with the wiring for the computer i know that i just have to splice into that wire but i don't know which one it is

use pin #60 or #87. i myself used #60. when you get the computer from behind the pass kick panel take a look at the back of the plug. you will see that they are numbered. find a good clear number you can see and count to the wire you need to splice. all the wires are color coded for whatever purpose they serve. if you want to use pin #60 the wire will be gray with a light blue strip. if you use #87 it will be red with a black stripe.

when i cut and spliced into #60 i did it far enough away from the pcm to make sure that if i remove my a/f gauge then i can splice the wire back together easily.

just take your time and look twice before you cut and you should be just fine.

pm me if you need any more help.

got the gauge for free figured i'd just see what is going on with the car i know it is not that accurate but at least it will tell me a little bit also thanks for the help and when i can afford a wideband (hopefully tax return) i will most likely get one.

I agree with the above. Get a wide band if u want to have a functional tuning device. A norrowband will flash and look cool but be very hard to tune off of...

Not worth the time to install.......... Just my .02

you CANT tune with that gauge at all. honestly all it will do is constantly flash from rich to lean.

i had one in my car before i knew they were worthless. i ended up selling it and buying a FP gauge

we should ask the mods to sticky it!! even though its a technical write up for something kinda useless.

I have Narrow a/f gauge. It's annoying. I can't stand it. Sometimes i put sock over it to get rid of the dam "Light show" SINCE you have it install it. But if(it will) gets annoying cut out a piece of rubber that's size of the gauge and place them on with some 3m tape to cover them. It will get annoying driving at night with that thing.

Have fun:nice:
