I'm always paranoid about my tune when the weather changes or when i get gas from different gas stations, etc... I think its finally time to get a wideband A/F gauge. But before i do, are they reliable and accurate? Accurate as a dyno?

Also what are some of the top A/F guages on the market? I have autometer phantom II gauges, so something white faced that matched would be sweet, and if it also fit in the A-pillar gauge pod.

they are accurate as long as you calibrate them every so often and place them close to the engine. they are more accurate than the tail pipe sniffers the use on dynos.

sweet. i didnt know they were more accurate than the sinffer dyno a/f.

Do they have models that have a # read out and can also turn a diff bright color when you go too lean? I'll have to check out the autometer phantom line, that would match my other gauges perfect.

Saleen, what made u go with AEM over others?

the AEM is what my tuner recomended and it matched my other gauges perfectly. it has the digital readout along with the lighted segments to show where your AFR is

the autometer phantom would match all my other phantom gauges perfect. Anybody heard anything about the autometer widebands, any good?
