Air Fuel Ratio Gauge

where do you guys have your signal wire hooked up? i have a focus too and i hooked it right to the wire on the 02 sensor but i heard thats not right. where are yours hooked to. someone told me that the harness goes right under the maf and to tap into a purple wire but i didnt see any purple wires there. plus i tested it with a voltmeter and got nothing that i think would be the signal.

I hooked it up to the harness right in front of the oil pan. You just do not want to hook it up on the actual o2 sensor's harness. Anywhere between the computer, and the little plug before the o2 is fine.
For the left side I used the dark blue wire w/ a light green stripe, and for the right a red wire w/ a black stripe. I just ran em' through a toggle.

Anybody know if it is bad if my gauge never lights up the rich (green) area???

Spliced in right at the puter plugin. Acutally hooked two lines up, one for each o2 so I can put a switch on the dash to toggle them. That's how I found out one of mine wasn't working...

if you put a toggle on there will it be the same on both sides when they are both working correctly???
