air fuel ratio

hey whats up? need to know what the proper air fuel ratio is for a super charged application and a non super charged aplication. i would aloso like to know what the proper fuel pressure is for a super chargerd and non aplication. last is what is the differance between a wide banned or regular air fuel ratio monitor besides the price.

12.8-13.2 at WOT for a n/a car
12 is a decent number for a supercharged car

40 psi is a good number for a fuel pressure.

a wide band is pretty much the same thing a dyno uses to measure your a/f ratio. gives you a read out in actual numbers. an autometer type one only gives you a generally idea. red=lean, green=rich...not too accurate.

thaks for the info. it sounds like we have real similar mods. i have a dss 306 rolling assembly anderson b-31 cam no power pipe, everything els seems similar. is 40psi good with boost and n/a? what do you run your timming at?

Im shooting for an 11.875 A/F at WOT, 14.6 at cruising and I am using the Zeitronix WB02.

If by chance (heck, I believe you will ) you see a nasty lean spike when nailing the skinny pedal from cruise to wot .........

You can knock it down with the manifold scalar

Start off by reducing the value by one full point and ajdust to your satisfaction
