I upgraded my heads, and do not have smog tubes. I do want to use the air pump still to keep my cats healthy (bbk high flows). Id love to get an offroad pipe but unfortunetly I live in MA and both the cops and the emissions tests are strict.
I want to run the air pump without diverter valves straight to the pipe that leads to the cats. (running air at all times)
A- will this be practical for the cats (will it help/hurt)
B- Will I need to cap off the lines previously going to the diverters.
I hope this will be an easy "mod" and I can clean up my engine bay from emissions clutter while saving my cats in the process.
