a buddy of mine just switched from a off-road x-pipe back to one with cats, and is going to give me his old one. its a bassani. I plan on taking off the air pump now that i will have no cats. my question is do i need to get the delete kit or just buy a smalled belt and route it diffrently. It just seems smater to get rid of the pully all together. if i can do with out the pulley, does anyone know what size belt i would need.

You can do either one you want. If you want to go with the short belt ... do a quick search on here to reveal the sizes you will need.

The people who use the pulley usually do it because there have been problems running short belts .... like the belt slipping off .... or the tensioner maxing out.

I use the pulley that Summit sells and it does great. And looks great, too.
