Was looking into some possibilities for shocks and struts upgrades and have developed an intrest in one of the systems Air Ride Technology offers. I was just curios if any one is using one of there systems or has had experince with either system.

Heres a link http://www.ridetech.com/productinfo/mustang.asp

I haven't seen anyone here with the airbags yet, what would be the main purpose of using the Air Ride kit?

if you do purchase it, more power to you

I was gonna put air ride on my Festiva, but some bitch tore my car up 3 days before the install. Glad it happened, though, as I took the ~$2000 that I was putting into air ride and threw it towards my Mustang purchase!

i thought about air ride so i would not have a problem with my steeda splitter but i think i heard that the pumps are pretty heavy, so i decided against them.

I've driven in a 96 gt with it and the ride was very nice yet firm. The guy was more into show so thats the reason he went with the air ride kit. Also he could raise it up to get in & out of his driveway. I haven't seen the guy/car for like 4-5 years so i can't tell you how it held up over time...i considered it myself but never pulled the trigger on it.

I've rode in a few vehicles with it and it's not bad at all.. I think it'd be pretty cool to use on a car that was more of the "show" than the "go"

It's worth looking into tho!

HorsepowerTV just installed one on a camaro SS this past weekend and it looked great. They said it handled much better and the adjustable bags will make the car look cool when crusing as well.

Did you see the install? Ohh man, I would hate to install all that extra crap just for a minor if any increase in performance. Plus trying to get a nice way to get all the tubing and wires to be hidden in the trunk or where ever.

Yeah I viewed the install as well on hp tv...I was thinking about it myself, but as stated before that is a lot of junk for a slight firming up of the suspension in general. Bit too pricey as well...

I saw that show, too... Looks like too much $$$ for the hassle of the install. I'm gonna stick with the conventional suspension when the time comes.

a friend of mine has it on his 10sec foxbody. it lowers to the ground when he shuts the car off and raises back up when he starts the car. it rides nice and handles pretty good.
