I know where the module is located on the passenger side for clearing codes. Isn't there also a connector under the dash on the drivers side. I am trying to fix a code 12 (low battery feed), the fuse keeps blowing. I want to look and see if the connectors need to be cleaned. Thanks in advance!

I believe the air bag module is inside the front console, where your radio is and stuff. If you fold back the carpet on the driver's side a few inches in front of the gas pedal, you should be able to see the connectors. Getting them disconnected is a whole 'nother story though.

There is also a air bag plug under the glove box. You can use it to reset the system. I know several people have had a airbag light on (blinking) and it reset/fixed the blinking light.

Isn't the one he is looking for on the drivers side, under the hood, in front of the strut tower?

The connector under the drivers side of the dash is a OBDII plug and only functional on the V6 cars which had that version of eec.

There's a separate airbag clearing code plug, which sit just under the glove box. You can't use the diagnostic plug to clear airbag codes

Do a search under my name and I have a post that explains how to clear codes and the location of the code clearing plug.

If you have a code 12, using the reset plug (a 2 wire connector under the glove box) will not reset the error code. You need to fix the problem, which will turn the code 12 into a code 52 (IIRC), and then you can clear the 52.

Check this link, there are specific instructions for dealing with a code 12.

Can you reset the airbags and the light go off even if no air bag is present in the drivers side?

I removed the bulb and it is making that annoying beeping now.
