hey all, its been a while since ive been hanging out in these forums, ive been busy finishing up college and starting my new job. but with my delayed presence, i come bearing gifts.... err well problems. Although my car will shut the airbag light off a few seconds after startup, it soon flashes in 5 second intervals or so and then stays on steadily after about 3 minutes or so. im wondering what could be causing this? also if there is a way to read or clear the code with my code reader... from what i gather, any non-CEL codes arent given during this procedure since the airbag light was def on and i still got the 1-1-1 code which means everything is good.
on a side note, if i am to mess with the airbags, is there a good way of draining all of the power out of the car, most importantly the air bag system so there is no chance of a spark and accidental discharge?
