I just bought a 93 lx hatch it had a blown Mercury airbag on it that was not pluged in. I got a new airbag on ebay that is for a 93 lx. When I went to put it on the plug is different than the plug on the wheel but it is the same as the plug on the mercury bag. Anyone know was up? The plug on the wheel looks smaller and oval shape with three holes instead of square with two.

Are you sure it is a 93 airbag? 93 was unique for the Mustangs as Ford changed the airbag connectors for the 93 model year. I've been looking into putting a SN95 wheel in my car and the 93+ plugs are the same. What some of the guys have done is change the plugs to match. Hopefully someone knows which one is which, so you can figure it out.
