Shipped my airbag control module off to a company in TX to have it repaired/reset because it was flashing the infamous 52 code. I wouldn’t be as concerned but I have an inspection I have to pass to get it titled in GA. It won’t pass with a flashing airbag light. The light has to self check. Any other ideas?

Are you saying you had the airbag module repaired, reinstalled it and it’s still flashing?

Resolved Thread '1993 Cobra SRS Crash Sensors Front Right and Front Left'

Nov 4, 2024
I just bought a 1993 Cobra. The airbag light flashes 4 times, pauses, then flashes 4 times again. The code shows RH crash sensor. When I looked at both the LH and RH, they both have same number on sticker, F2ZB-14B005-AA. Is this correct or should they be different numbers? If they are the same, does that mean the front left and front right crash sensors are interchangeable? Need help to pass inspection to get it registered.

@jeremyzcook82 - you can change the title of a thread you start. This helps as you make progress or feel it will help getting information. The more threads you start about something everything in the prior threads gets lost and it makes helping more difficult.

For the sake of getting through inspection, i would try and wire in a time delay circuit.

Amazon.com

I'd just wire the above to the light to be normally closed and then revert to normally open after a 3-4 second delay after key on.

gets you though the inspection and then you can focus on the repair at your own pace.
