This is driving me crazy. My 97 GT 5spd has been in for 3 alignments lately and comes out within specs every time ...so why are my expensive BFG's wearing out on the outside edges and the car wanders on the highway and seems like it has bump steer but it isn't lowered! Will a set of camber plates help? Thanks for any advice guys I'm new to this forum.

Lowered stangs in the 2 inch range, will trammline badly, especially with 265+ tires up front. If you have CC plates you can have the the alignment tech add more positive caster,(lean the struts back more toward the cabin) this will help reduce the stangs tendency to tramline.. Like a chopper with really long forks...it will track straight and true.

I have the same problem...Seems to get a little better as I drive it after intitial start-up but it still tends to wander. I just had an alignment and it didn't help at all. New struts and shocks are probably the best bet to clear it up, especially if you have any miles on your car.
