I Just read the Shelby GT 500 article in 5.0 Mustang and Superfords that says all 07 S197's are getting "more welded seams and strengthed panels". Sweet! Should help in the handling department? Anyone else have any details?

Really, sweet...that makes sense I guess since it's got so much more useable power then all those other P.O.S.s.

Yeah I know, bout time GM woke up!

Anyways to be on topic. I read in the MM&FF that they were getting some extra welding and what not. No clue on where I guess we'll have to get a few people to climb under their cars and do a comparison of the welds (if they're visible that is).

It'd be interesting to find out what the differences are to see if they can be duplicated or rectified by aftermarket bits.

i will keep my eyes peeled for information on this from I-CAR. (a collision industry resource.) they might have a small note about it, and how it affects repairs.
