I have just ordered my Magnaflow catted X pipe. I have searched the site and could only find the answer about the o/r x pipe. Do I need the 02 sensor extensions for the magnaflow catted x pipe on my 2004 GT? if so do I need 2 sets 1 for the front and 1 for the back? This subject was a little vague(sp?) for me.

thanks

I third it.

You might want to look into Mils as well. Even tho it's catted it might still throw a code. It's a big MIGHT. The shop that installed my x pipe thru them in for free just in case.

I'll get the Mils if I throw a code. Why would I throw a code if the pipe is catted.

Because the cats you get probably aren't as efficient as the cats which Ford tuned the o2 sensors for.

I wouldn't put MILs until you got a CEL.

They plug in. Like putting an extension cord on a home appliance, but not as long.

Yeah, don't get them unless you get the light.

Yea don't get the mils unless you need them. I installed the bassani X with cats last week and have no Error codes. Also I just cut the rear sensor wires in half and spliced in wires to make them longer using solder/heat shrink and a heat sleeves.

I just put my MAC o/r h on my 04 yesterday and gave it a shot without MILs. It came on last night, after a few start/restarts (trips around town).
So, this morning, after it was cool, plugged in the MILs and was good to go.

Thank you Brent @ Brenspeed.com!!!
