My rear end needs to be rebuild and I'm going to be tossing in a 4.10.
So, I think that my list of parts to purchase is:

-FRPP 4.10 gears

-Ring and Pinion install kit #3 (KIT INCLUDES PINION & CARRIER SHIMS, CRUSH SLEEVE, PINION SEAL, PINION NUT, RING GEAR BOLTS AND COVER GASKET, PINION GEAR AND CARRIER BEARINGS, AXLE SHAFT BEARINGS AND AXLE SHAFT SEALS)

-23 tooth speedo gear

-Clutch pack kit w/friction modifier

Am I missing anything or do you see anything that needs to be corrected?

You got a clutch pac kit? $60, comes w/ the friction mod
Get one, your stock pacs are most likely toast. While your at it, add the next thicker shim it comes w/ the kit. You wont be disapointed after the break in.

Right on. :nice:

Do you need the pack kit if your rear end is still intact?
Where's a good place to get all this stuff?
I just ordered the gears. What do I have to have to install them?

Yes, the clutch packs keep your limited slip working properly. If your packs are burnt/worn you will get the 1 wheel peal.
You can buy the kit at your local Ford Parts dept.
You will only need gear lube and I suggest a new pinion bearing incase you wreck the other pressing the stock one off. Or just leave it on the 3.27 pinion and use the new one on your new set.
