Hey well before i went to bahamas a week ago i gave my car to my mechanic he fixed the crank seal and the rear output shaft leak. now i get under the car after he is done and i got it at home and i see between the 2 there looks to be another leak. any ideas what it could be?

Sounds like you may be referring to the rear main seal . gotta drop the tranny to get to it .

it looks like the color of transmission fluid.

i got leaks to, i thought i fixed it but i must have put the new seal in wroong and it still leaks!

Well i got the FRONT CRANK SEAL and REAR OUTPUT SHAFT done already. and it seems like all over the transmission there is some visible fluid. i can't find a real leak of where its all coming from. i can't find it newhere. im not really sure what else it could be?

It looks like it was the lower intake gaskets. weird but since i got them done last night no leaks.

Did you put any sealer on the bolts that connect your flywheel to the crank. These bolts holes go completly through and will cause a leak that looks a rear main seal leak. Very common but not to commonly known. hope this helps.

I almost skipped to the bottom to reply. I was gonna suggest the lower intake gasket!! That was the culprit on 2 of my old GT's. I was pulling my hair out, worrying it was the rear main...thankfully is wasn't!!
