All those leftover 06's...

The one thing I noticed on the 06's is that they have held their value with the new 07's on the lot. The dealers in my area only drop the price about $1000 from the new ones, then you have to negotiate from there. Just use the bargaining power that you could get a new one for $1000 more and they will start to fall. Also try and have them work in some extras if they insist on staying on teh high end. Good luck!

I can't wait for this weekend! Gonna get another Mustang!

But I still can't decide...GT....v6...Mach 1....damn you gasoline prices! The v6 thought shouldn't even be in my head!!

BTW everyone catch the edit I made in original post? Ford is giving the 0% financing to EVERYONE that qualifies for ANY level financing from Ford.

My credit score was 660. Not the best but I qualified (2 years ago I didn't have credit) and they took zero down no questions asked.

Edit - I got the V6 buy wish I had gotten a GT

There are times when a dollar today is worth more than a dollar next year - but this isn't one of them. 0% > $1500

Well it depends on your credit and what you can get from your bank too. I can get a rate that is essentially 0.95% "actual interest" after taking into account inflation. I'd rather have the $1,500 today than "earn" ~4-5% on inflation. I can put my money to work for much better than a 5% return.

I still say it is more a cashflow consideration assuming you are diligent about managing your money.

That is good that you a consious about gas prices and a 6r. I went for the 6r because of gas and I don't regret it at all. But if u wanna race everybody u better get a 8. :)
Ive found it better to be cool and consious than cool and broke. @ $3 a gallon it's a $40 fill up. Glad to see gas down this week. :)

Yes, it's $2.56 here. we'll start thinking that is cheap and they will run the price up to $3.10 or so. Then we will think $2.75 is cheap. The cycle will continue until we long for the days when gas was only $3 per gallon.
We are being conditioned to accept higher prices.

Hrmm still $2.99 here :owned:

I mean I DO have the '67 with a spankin new rebuilt 351W under the hood to play with...but its a classic, can't get too wild. I just want a daily driver I can be proud of I guess! Been in a beater toyota p/u last 6 years

Well I just got a call back from my dealer, he searched for a manual in Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Michigan and found nothing but stupid auto's. I can never seem to get a break.
