OK, this was inspired by the sad sad "Chepie is sold" thread. I can't help but wonder how the (vastly superior) 69' model year is spread out and represented on the board. I know that over the last few years there have been other vert owners but it's been a while since I've seen them around, so lets try and keep track of it if we can.

Ya know, it recently dawned on me how perfect it is that I live in NH now. Sure the winter sucks, but this state has been 69'ing Vermont for well over 200 years now.

Almost forgot, I'm hunting down a possible Indian Fire 69 Vert in NJ. A neighbor runs with a bunch, and supposedly one of the members bought one off e-bay recently. when I hear more, I'll update.

aww, pak i feel so special, i know you puth GT coupe in there just for me since i'm the only one who has one of those around here. i know there area ta least a couple of GT verts between here and the VMF and i think a GT s-roof or two as well, but as far as i know i'm the lone GT coupe owner in these parts. "listen up partners. i'm the sherrif here in GT town an i don't wanna hear no belly aching from any a you about how outnumbhered or lonely ya'll are. ya hear what i'm a tellin ya?"

Yeah well see, I'm not just an a$$, I'm a nice a$$. (At least that's what I hear the ladies call me behind my back when I walk past them).

Yeah 69' GT's aren't to easy to come by, they really didn't have much of a farewell considering they were once the prime real estate of the line. I was on a ghost hunt the first year I started my searching hoping to find a rare combo of a 428 CJ GT Vert. Still a car I'd gladly buy at almost any price if I ever cam across one for sale.

69 coupe-er checking in. It's old, it's beat up, it's "Meadowlark Yellow", it's a 6. And I love it.


And I would give just about any section of my anatomy for a 428 R-code Mach. Heck, pick two sections, you can have both!

I just voted and then thought maybe that was premature. I'm the guy buying chepsk8. I haven't even taken possession of the car,and if I was'nt so excited about getting it I'd be sleeping cause my 5 month old twins get up in about 4 hours. just wanted to say hi!

once you get the car it will be hard to tell which will have more of your attention, the car or the Twins.

Hi Pat, and welcome brother! OK, so now I have to change my signature again. Boy, that was a short time at the top of the world, sheesh. Awe well, it was lonely at the top anyway. ( I forgot about 65fsbkhipo anyway, I thought he sold it already though ) Glad you have joined and are excited to get going. BTW, I am the guy that Mark Logan contacted several weeks ago (the car you might have owned if I was selling) and I sent him Dan's way knowing Chepie was up for grabs. You have a very nice well cared for and maintained soild car there, Dan takes very loving care of his cars and I wish you continued enjoyment and many years of pleasure with it.
