All you DR. Gas people, I need your help! I need a mid pipe for L/T's!

I am going to be ordering some BBK long tube headers and I want a mid pipe that sounds really good with flows. I have always heard that the dr gas mid pipe is the best sound, quality, and performance...but after talking to modular powerhouse I am not sure I want to do it. They said that it requires cutting and welding... I think it comes in 5 parts and you have to piece it together, cut it to fit, and weld it... sounds like too much work for me...how hard is it to install? anyone know? or could anyone recommend a good mid pipe that is not RASPY???

Thanks a lot!!

Take it to a good exhaust shop and let them do it if it is to much work for you. It is worth the trouble. That is the best X-pipe out there

Mine came in 5 pieces. Made it easier to polish before putting it on the car. Anyway, there is a drgas x made for lond tubes that fits, just comes in five pieces. I took my pipe to an exhaust shop, they fitted it, welded, then installed it. Cost me like 80 bucks, well worth it. If I had a lift and the patients, I would of done it myself. No cutting involved. The car never sounded more healthy!
