Is getting an alluminum driveshaft even worth it?
Im contemplating on getting one since i get some vibration at high speeds on my car, but im not sure if i want to dish out the 230$+shipping to get one

whats ur guys opinion on them?

I have one on my mustang and love it, it also adds hp to the rear wheels because of the transfer. It weighs less to it can spin faster. Well worth the money!!

It's quite a bit bigger around, it weighs 7 lbs. lighter, and it's twice as strong as the stocker.

Don't forget you noit only get a balanced shaft, but also brand new u-joints as well. Add that to the other benefits and I think it's worth it. Although it used to be $150.

I installed mine the same time i did the gear swap and i am very satisfied with it. Looks great under the car and cut down on vibrations.

I got an aluminum driveshaft from www.buyfordracing.com for $200 bucks...I believe they are still sold for that.

I didn't notice any difference. I may have had slightly less vibration thru my shifter It is bigger than the stock one and is causing me some rubbing issues but I think that is also e-brake cable related by I do know the stock driveshaft didn't rub.

It is lighter...

Yeah it is alot lighter. I just got through packing up my stock D/S because i sold it on ebay. I had forgotten how heavy it is can't wait to see how much it cost to ship.

YES IT'S WORTH IT! My stock driveshaft was such an unbalanced piece of crap that it would vibrate the tranny out of gear doing 70 MPH. It's a great piece to have on the car, and pretty easy to install.

If you're looking for a RWHP increase, you'll be disappointed. The gain will be hardly noticeable.

But if you want to smooth out drivetrain vibration, you'll be very pleased. It makes a BIG difference.

I ordered mine from Jegs. Free shipping, and I had it installed less that 24 hours after I ordered it. How's that for fast delivery?!

thats awesome, yea im not looking for n e increase in power or feelling, i just want to stop some of the vibrations i get while cruising and stuff, so when i get it back from paint i gotta order me one of those and do the sn-95 steering wheel swap...cause it looks amazing..
