came to me rusted and nasty....came out pretty well. The fingerprints on it can be wiped clean...

from start to finish, a piece like that is about two hours

I used to do that when I was a kid. I can't really remember what the first thing I did was, but I remember I used my dad's bench grinder wire wheel. I think it was some part of my pushbike. Very rewarding thing to do I think.
