I know i did some things in the wrong order but i really want to have my dad help me on some parts but he wont be home till wed. I dont think im forgeting anything, sure hope so too but anyways heres my problem for tonite:

In the image i drew shows what i think goes where on the msd 6btm. the smaller white and red wire i dont know what to do and another connection on the other side i dont know what to do with either. Can anyone elp me? also where in the coil do the orange and black wires go?

another thing i noticed was my gas pedal is slack and on the floor but everyting is hooked up. is this because my battery has been unhooked for a week? i think i rehooked up the TB right when i took it off to polish it.

FYI work on the powerpipe now. That is not a last minute item. Did you buy the MSD adapter harness? After you have that it's just a ground and power source. Then getting the dial in the car. Would also put the plugs in on Tuesday.

Someone just asked here and there is a chart.

I think that adapter you are referring to is the magnetic p/u line. I did not have that connected.

What do you suggest to use to cut the fender? I hae a dremel but i dunno what bit to use, all i do is cut a hole, and mount the 90* bend and the power pipe just sits there right? And what MSD adapter harness are you talking about? There is an adapter on the end of the small red and white wires but thats it.

He means the MSD connect harness for the 5.0's. A Dremel is not going to cut through that very well, you need one connected to an air compressor.

ok well what harness is that? all i have is the red adapter on the end of the red and white wires. do you know what the other wire is on the other side of the msd 6btm? or why my pedal is slack?

Click on this www.summitracing.com Then put in the part number search MSD-8874. It makes your unit a plug and play device now.

I used a cutting wheel with my air compressor. I'm sure a dremel with cut off wheel will work but take longer.

Sure it's just more work. I would wait but that's just me. Anything to make things easier is worth it.

Go to the MSD site and go into the support link there are installation directions there in Adobe.
BTW do yourself a favor and take your time. You want it to look and run right when you show it off especially try to run someone.
