first off its a alpine type X 10, powered by a alpine mrd-m1005. I only have these three pictures right now. But im gonna take it apart tomarrow so you can see what's underneath. basically the box is 100% glass, and i raised the floor 3". you can't tell in the pictures very well, but i made it kinda sunken down in there, and smoothed it all out. And tomarrow im gonna spray it yellow to match the car.

just wanted to know what you guys think? first time ever doing a install.:SNSign:

Very nice looking design, and it's going to be sweet painted to match the car.

Definitely post more pics! Nice job, especially for your first at-bat.

very nice, im in the middle of making a custom glass inclosure for my dual 10" eclipses as we speak. how many layers did you end up doing? did you use fiberglass weave or mat?

I used the weave, and I might have gone a little overkill on the layers? but I ended up doing 8.

haha well right on. thats good info! I had no idea how many to put, just kept adding more and more till it felt sturdy enough to wear it wouldn't flex. Although it did get a little more heavy than i wanted to be. but what the hell still looks good!
