So i got a brand new novi 1000 for 600 bucks. I currently have a sn93 on my 95 stang, thought maybe it would all bolt up, being it was still a paxton and all also not cheking with paxton to confirm this. well my bad now i need a whole new bracket assembley and all this other stuff for 2800 bucks, i'm thinking that is a really expensive tuner kit!? is it a big deal to fab up a bracket if i get the right pulleys, and get it alligned ok? or what should i do??

Well, being that ive never seen ethier of those set-ups I cant offer much specific insight on it, how far off is it? could you modify to old bracket by cutting some of it off and welding a new piece on it, drilling new holes, etc. ?

But to answer your question, it depends on how good your fabricating and general design skills are. If you are confident that you can make a bracket it and it all work right go for it. But if you arent all that good and have alot of doubt about it i'd say look around for the right bracket and stuff.

Take teh car to a machine shop and have them fab a bracket... it'll be a freaking heck of a lot less $$...

and cool too.... mill one out of a piece of solid billet for a couple hundred bucks maybe...

Well i think tommorow i will take off the old blower and start to fab up a bracket or an adapter plate. pretty sure it shouldn't be to hard beings how i have a pretty good idea how it should go since i have a bracket etc, already there. i've got a torch, welder, and mechanic by trade so this should be fairly strait forward, i was just wondering if anybody had any pointers or had done this type of thing before.

thanks for your help tjh566 thats a sweet set up with that 3.8 blower, very impressive idea. props to you.

thanks for all your help
