Like the title says? I really need a set of hood pins, my hood has opened on me a few times while driving (thankfully it did not fly open) but I don't really think hood pins would look good on my car. Is there any alternatives?

Aerocatch's look 100x better then hood pins in my opinion.

AeroCatch® - new design of bonnet pin, available in locking or non-locking versions – see how it works.........

those aerocatch ones are cool but i dunno how at home they would look on a fox, and it seems they need to be flush mounted

Here is a close up picture of the aerocatch on my car. I havent painted it yet, but they are not much larger than the conventional hood pin plate, and i really cant see how they would ever fail.

I was thinking the aerocatch myself. Thanks for being a pioneer and showing me. Did you use the stock hood bumper location to mount the pegs? What did you have to cut up on the underside to get them to mount... I have a cervinis 2.5 which I am nervous to do surgery on.

bailing wire and duct tape. A shoe lace maybe. Sorry. What is wrong with the latch?

Some fiberglass hoods will twist and turn from the air getting under them, then they unlatch themselves, and it's not pretty.

Zeus clips are by far the least intrusive on the eye.

I'd like to see how that looks painted... I like the concept of them but they look close to twice the size of a regular hood pin and dzus fastners to me look a little more buisness like

I put the pin right where the factory bumper was.

There was a scary moment when i first started cutting into a brand new hood, but all said and done, its not that bad of a job to do. You will need to make a slightly larger cutout on the inside of the hood so you can install the nuts on the bottom.

These are paintable as well, so if you cant stand the 2.75" x 4.9" hood pin, you can alway paint them to match the car.

And here is another option, although there is still more involved in getting your hood open as opposed to the aerocatch, not to mention they are non-locking, unlike the aerocatch.
