Alternator Hits VC--Pics Update on Build DUW

For Anyone looking at buying nice tall Fab Alum VCs....Know this your gonna need a 1 inch spacer for your intake and the Alternator hits the VC too.

I think I am gonna need to cut a reweld the VCs.

Just a heads up....

I noticed with my and fox covers if you undo the alt. bracket a little and bolt the alt. down and valve cover. Then push the alt. bracket back in it cleared when I tightned down the bracket. One of those undo 3 thing to get all to fit.

That was for FOX covers and I can bet some others will not fit this way. Thougth I would mention it since it is worth a try.

Here is where Im at....

yeah they looked great in the catalog and I was really tired of flimsy VCs. I had considered the TrickFlow Covers but I didnt want to look like a Billboard under the Hood. And I always thought these Fabbed VCs looked trick. I never thought they would be a problem. I really wanted a 1 inch spacer anyways so that was OK but I never thought about the alt.
