Alternator is reassembled - now its BLACK! (pics)

Hey I know I started this in another thread but I just took apart my alternator to paint it and their were several people who had questions. Its really very easy, I just marked the bolts holes so I realigned the same ones in the same place when it went back together. I still have to put a sensor looking thing with two peices of metal sticking out back in, but that should take all of about 2 minutes. I sprayed it with a couple coats of VHT engine paint, I think it turned out alright. Heres a pic:

I see nothing... it shows that you have an attachment in the 94-95 forum list, but nothing is here.

I just ordered a chrome 160A from Ebay. They company has over 3000 feedbacks and only 1 negative in the last year.
I think the black would look depending on the engine color scheme.

Well my engine is all black now, so hence the black alternator. I think yours should look great with all your chrome.

I just replied to your intake thread... The altinator looks nice too and will fit nicely in with your intake. I'm hopefully going to be polishing up my alt. soon and maybe painting the back plate black or something.

If your car is stock..NO!

Any aftermarket electrical things, including Elec Fuel pump, gauges, and even alarm system, which is on when the car sits, will increase load on the battery.

You DEFINITELY need it with the BOOM BOOM stereo systems and neon lights.
