ok so i bought a new alternator cuz my car has not been charging while ive been driving and it was not before either so my question is could i have the wiring wrong if anybody has a picture of what it is supposed to look like with a stock alternator or could it be somenthing else?

I'd look for a break or short in the wires coming off of the alternator - happened to me.

This is especially suspect if it was charging before and suddenly stopped charging one day without changing any wiring around.

Did your alternator test out good at the parts store?
