I have the underdrive pulleys on my stang but did not put on the alternator one, got some bad info saying I did not need it. Now my problem is that I am almost stalling out with my lights on, radio on and heater on. I can't find the underdrive alternator pulley to put it on. Does anyone know of a place that sells just the alternator underive pulley? Or should I just go with a bigger alternator?

I don't think the problem is the pulley, rather the capacity of the OEM alternator, installing the UD pulley will only make this worse I would think. I have a PA Performance 130 unit sitting in a box waiting for me to install it on my 88 LX. As it is, the lights dim at idle with the OEM alternator.

I'd get a voltmeter on there and check to see if its charging correctly . Also check your battery . You may have charging issues . The 130 amp upgrade is always a good idea .

I have a 3G 130A alternator sitting in my garage if you want it. you would just need the wiring harness which is easy to find and install.

LMK.

BTW the stock alternator is junk even on a stock 5.0
