2000 mustang with the v6 in it, alternator is whining all the time, charging is good an has new battery. This is not bearing or pulley issue, so anyone have any insite?
Replacement time, the bearings start going - maybe just one went or is going, which still starts the car and runs most accessories. But it makes the unit work harder and eventually they burn out.
