alternator wiring issues???

ok guys i just bought a 87gt and i drove it around all day, everything was fine. last night on my way home the amp light started flashing intermittently and the volt guage fluctuated as well...i went up to auto parts store and had the alternator checked and it was good...thinking that it was the wires from the alternator that were ****ed up, i re-ran them to the positive side of the battery...this worked until i was about to my drive way and now its flashing again??? not as bad as it was before tho...only when i slow down and sometimes when i turn, i guess...its hard to duplicate it...i just cant figure out what is wrong??? please help...thanks in advance!
