Aluminum driveshaft from Ford Aerostar?

Not sure about my HP and TQ numbers. I was pretty sure an AL one would handle whatever I have considering there are a lot of 5.0s with more power than my 428 with Al driveshafts. Either way I am kind of glad I went with steel since they had to tuck my exhaust in the drive shaft hump to get around the X part of my TCP subframe.

For those that missed it, here's a pic comparing an Aerostar driveshaft to a 88 GT's (5.0) driveshaft:

Sure, but not all aluminum driveshafts are the same. Some will fail at low hp, some will take 1500 hp. It all depends on diameter, wall thickness, type of alloy, heat/cryo treatment, construction, etc.
