What are the pros and cons of an aluminum driveshaft. Im feeling slight vibes at high speeds and im thinking of throwing one on. Its one for a tremec 3550 will that work with my T5?

Only con i can think of, is fitment issues with your mufflers. Most mustang exhaust cuts it pretty close to the DS, especially with an aluminum driveshaft as they are physically bigger.

I cant think of any cons, there was more than enough room with my flowmasters

Absolutely no cons except the cost. Nothing's free.

I've had Flows, MACs, Pepboys and stock exhaust on with my drive shaft and have had zero clearance issues. The ONLY problem you might come accross is if your car is reeeeally low, the shaft might rub on the rear break cable splitter that runs above the drive shaft. If that's the case, your car is probably too low anyways.

There's no cons... they're well worth the money. I don't have any clearance issues with my Flows.

I have used the FMS aluminum DS with Flowmasters, Mac's, Super Turbos, and Warlocks and have never had a clearance issue. My 89GT was pretty damn low and I had no issues there either. I have found that if you have deeper gears, it isnrt really even optional. You pretty much need it to avoid vibration. Thats been my experience anyway.

I'm putting on my aluminum driveshaft this weekend along with my clutch and I have flowmasters...I hope I don't have any problems...doesn't look like I will...they are bigger though than the stock DS...not by a lot though...
