Aluminum driveshaft???

hi, i need to know who makes aluminum driveshaft for a 2000 mustang with T56 trans i know is a littlebit shorter than the stock one because i hade to cut the stock one and it was perfect but i took the car to the track and launch it 5000 RPM's and the driveshaft exploted looks like a screw i need a racing one

I thought the 03 and 04 Cobra's with the T56 came with an aluminum driveshaft stock.

I was correct. This link confirms it: http://www.fordmuscle.com/archives/2002/02/2003cobra/index1.shtml. I guess all you need to do is find a 03/04 Cobra driveshaft and you'll be in good shape.

any part number? and where i can find it? and that drive shaft work with solid axle?

good luck finding one. the couple places i have found them online want $500 for them. Looking for a reasonable one myself.
