I didn't want to hijack the other thread on the pro-m subject. My car doesn't run perfectly. You guys can see what I have in my sig, would I be wasting my hard earned $450 on a dynotune with what I have so far for mods?

What else will you be doing? Im not sure what needs a tune more than a h/c/i 302 with a stock 94-95 computer. How does that steeda cam treat you?

I say to get a Tweecer or a used PMS instead of a dynotune. But its up to you and what u like. I like getting in my car and driving down the street and solving problems. If you want it fixed and dont care to know how then the dyno tune is for you. Just remember that if u change your combo...back to the dyno for a retune.

It's ok I think it's designed for a little higher up the rpm band than I like(it was in the car when I purchased it,if was mine from the start I would have just gone with all Trick Flow components, keep it matched). As for future mods there probably wont be too much more than what is listed already(engine wise)other than what you guys prescribe to get the most outta what I have.

Get a chip off corral (or from me ) and save $150. Shops sell the diablosport chips for $289 but you can buy them for alot less and they will just burn the tune to that.

thats pretty funy that you are asking this question as I am going through the same problem as you. I have the pms though nobody around here can tune it though. the one dyno sop thats near by wants 600 bucks and could possibly charge more he said. so I am not sure if I should sell mypms and just get a chip or keep trying with my pms. are you having problems with your car? there definetly more power left in there I feel that any dyno tune is worth the money just not sure about if a chip or a pms is worth it for you

Why don't you just get with some peeps on sites that tune with the pms and use their knowledge to help you tune your car

If you are gonna try to find someone to use your pms to tune your car then where is the advantage of having a self tuner interface?

Might as well do the chip thing it seems to me.

The car runs a little rough it's gotta be good an hot to run close to right. the other part is it always smells rich! I have reset the Idle, correctly set the TPS, new MAF,TB trying to get the rich condition out. My thing is should I upgrade the fuel pressure regulator and pump so when and if I get it dynotuned they can get the car tuned perfectly?

You could save cash by going with a RWTD tune and then just pay 20 dollars for updates.

Running with the Devil I think is what hes talking about. Freind has it on his 03 cobra and seems to be ok. Its still a mailorder chip though.

Running with the devil huh? haven't heard of that one B4. I have read elsewhere in here all cars dont respond the same to a one size fits all chip.

Wow you are the first person with a PMS that says they cant get it tuned. Man those things are as easy as it gets. Have you been to www.stangtuning.com ? Gary is GREAT and will help you through any troubles.

The PMS can easily solve any problems you will have...whats your combo? Whats your problems? Post up and maybe i can be of some help to you.

Gees, please disregard my RWTD comment. I did not pay attention and for some goofy reason assumed you had a predator. Dunno why.

For education purposes -
Run With the Devil is RWTD. They used to offer 100 dollar tune, that was changeable for life at no cost. Now it is 125 for the initial tune and 2 adjustments. Later if you add stuff and whatever, you get two more updates for 20 dollars. Bascially, 20 dollars for updates from that point forward.

It is okay for Predator owners and they do a real good job. However, it totally does not apply to the original poster and I apologize for the confusion.

Take care,
Ceyko
