I haven't sold the Stang.....but I did finally cave and bought a different car I've been lusting over for years. Too bad my wife drives it 95% of the time.

You have everything I want but can't afford. Lets see, 1000+hp street stang, M3, what else!

Just joking, but get it now cause you can't take it with you when you die.

No....do tell!

It's a 2003 with only 24k miles. It is an SMG, which was a must as my wife has never driven a standard before. But even she is hooked on shifting it now seeing how easy it is.

first off get familiar with turning off the dsc, this is done by touching the dsc button briefly--will result in the triangle with the circle yellow light illuminate. when this occurs the dsc will still intervene alot. if you press and hold the button until the dsc and brake light illuminte the dsc is all but eliminated--there is still a bit of intervention.

so with the dsc off and the sport button depressed you will notice an extra reaction bar in the manual mode. this extra bar is not present in automatic mode.

for burnout mode get dsc off with brake light on, sport button depressed and all reaction bars in the smg lit up. after that is setup put the shifter in nuetral and rev to desired rpms then move shifter to drive--vehicle will begin to spin tires--badass.

for launch mode i will start off with a discalimer--if you use launch mode 3 or more times it will void the powertrain warranty. we know and are required by BMW to access this info for all powertrain warranty claims. if your car is an early 03 it should have the extended 100k mile powertrain warranty, so i suggest not using launch mode.

take dsc off fully(dsc and brake light on) turn on sport button, all reaction bars full, with shifter in manual mode pull the minus paddle back and rev to desired rpm's and then let go and mash the gas. the smg module will pulse the clutch to ensure the most tractable launch based on rpm and throttle input. it is very violent and hard on the clutch.

btw i did not perform any of these features without the customer present and without thier consent.
