Does anyone know which mufflers come in the american thunder catback?

http://www.summitracing.com/parts/FLO-817312/?rtype=10

I am hoping the original 40s come in it, but for the life of me I can't remember.

The original 40 and super 44 come in in 409 SS but the super 40 does not. The catback is listed as 409 SS is why I ask. I prefer stainless.

My American Thunder catback (which was purchased over 5 years ago) has the original 40s. Can't say for sure about the newer ones.

Ah, I looked at the kit for sale on AM. It has the super 40's but isn't SS. The mufflers in the link you provided look like super 44's.

I used to know they came with the 40's but it has been so long since I have been around one I am not sure. I emailed their tech to find out.

I've had straigh through mufflers for around 8 years. I sold my slp on the board, and I wanted chambered. Bought a set of MAC flopath dumps. I love the sound but can't stand the look of the car without tails on it. I have two choices with a PHB Flows or Dynomax. I like the sound of flows, the kit is stainless, and really it is just a mustang. Nothing ground breaking going on here, so flows it is.

I looked at AM but they didn't have the stainless. Summit has the same kit but in stainless for about $60 more bucks. I can do that.

I suppose in kornnut's case he has a viable reason to purchase them due to a phb setup, but for any other reason of purchasing them i despise them. I've just grown to hate them over the years, and it doesn't help that the car i just bought has them installed

It is all in what you like. I HATE anything magnaflow. Never heard one I liked. When I put the LTs on the car I wanted an o/r H instead of the X I had and a chambered muffler. Gotta change it up a bit.
