first, are 95 mustang bodies galvanized? if they are can i connect my ground for an amplifier directly to the body? all these car audio sites say you need to find a specific grounding place if your body is galvanized. thanks.

Under the rear seat cushion. unbolt the seatbelt bracket & then sand the paint off & there you go. Thats where 95% of Mustang guys do there ground.

Bolt it up man. jsut make sure you sand down to the bare metal and bolt it tight and you'll be fine.

I always used a soft stone wheel on the Dremel to grind the metal down to where it was shiny and smooth then bolted the ring terminal down. You can do it anywhere. ANd if you have any doubts, use a continuity tester.

My amp is mounted to a board then attached to the trunk side and floor securely to prevent movement

I drilled a new hole in the trunk floor and then sanded off the paint for the ground wire to mount to

Here's mine

If you ever plan on taking a female on a trip longer than a day, I don't recommend doing this.
