For the past week or so i changed my water pump, radiator, spacer/fan, overflow tank, shroud and thermostat. Well, I recieved my fan today and when i installed it, it was hitting the bottom of the shroud
. The previous owner cut the bottom half of the original shroud and I never new why untill I seen this today. I think its because I have stock '65 motor mounts. So what I would like to know is, what do I need to do to give the engine a better lift. Will changing the motor mounts from a diffrent year rise my engine a little bit?? ...if so, what year mounts should i get?...PLEASE HELP!!! I want to get it running A.S.A.P!
I have:
-'65 coupe
-289
-stock motor mounts
