Just finished installing PI cams and PI intake w/adapter plates on my 96 GT vert today. The car started right up and there were no leaks, CEL or misfires. The low-end is about the same but it now pulls nicely from 3000 to 5000+ rpm's. No mas pig! 
The Anderson tool made for a clean and quick cam swap. There are a couple tricks when using the Anderson tool but well worth it for $29.95. It would have taken me forever to replace the cams the old way, now I can replace both cams in less than 4 hrs. I just took my time, followed directions, and kept everything clean. The stock tune seems to work well. Just my $.02.
