anderson valve cover

I got these valve covers:

and they cause my edlebrock performer intake to hit the elbow. Does anybody know if a 3/8 spacer will cause these to clear?

Yeah, I'm running tall valve covers and a Performer intake and the 3/8" spacer clears it. The only other thing you have to think about is the hood. My stock hood was resting on my intake after that. I could have cut the hood a little, but I opted for a new hood.

strange. i have those covers and they clear my systemax and elbow just fine. the same with with my old gt40.
