For our upcoming anniversary, my wife asked what I wanted. I showed her the JLT CAI and she got her credit card and bought it on the spot!!
Man, I am sooooo lucky to have found her!!!

P.S. I hope it will be here and installed before our cruise next Saturday,Walter.

Congrats man, that's awesome. Mine finally caught on and did something similiar for our anniversary and suprised me with a '10 steering wheel and mirrors. JLT is still on the want list!

okay, thats great, but make sure you get her some jewelry. You've got to reciprocate you know. I have learned that you can never go wrong with Jewelry. It always sort of bugged me because it has no purpose, but my wife explained that is exactly why women like it. You are willing to spend a lot of money on something that has no purpose other than to show you would spend a lot of money on her...

Thats sick...but again...MAKE SURE you get a tune too or the car will probably go right into failsafe mode

I had purchased her a gift that she wanted, even though she thought I had forgotten. Surprised her with it earlier yesterday.

Some wives are a real pain. Mine's been great too, only I get my own credit card out and buy what I want. She never complains unless I deserve it. I feel sorry for the poor pukes that have wives that try to dictate how the money is spent unless the guy can't control himself.

My wife has always supported my Mustang habit.
Several years ago she even let me trade her car in to get a new 1994 Mustang. She then drove my car. (Hers was worth more on a trade).
Come to think of it, she let me trade in her can to get a 2005 Mustang and she began driving my 2005 Escape. (Actually a good deal for her). I now have a 2007 GT. I had to trade my own car (the 2005 Mustang in on that). She and my daughter always buy me Mustang items for birthday, Christmas, Father's Day, etc. I have a whole room (a large one) full of stuff, partially because of their gifts.
I am lucky. I do buy her jewelry and take her to dinner on a regular basis.

I'm one of the those 'pukes' ----- I make 38k annually and she makes 62k. she's got an accounting background, so she uses a spreadsheet for everything - down to the penny (not kidding). New house, 2.5 yr old, trying for another, blah blah blah. I drink and smoke, so I spend $$$ on those, but nuthing else. I bought an K&N flat panel filter for the ole girl, and she questioned that more than she should have. I don't have to deal with any money situations, but...................I would LOVE to get something for my car, but then "I'm ungrateful for what I have" already if I ask

I buy ALL my Stang mods The g/f just always jokingly asks, "Doesn't your car already have...wheels, hood, mirrors, spoilers, mufflers, handles, knobs, stereo, floor mats, etc" I just tell her, "Yeah, but Ford made it so plainly and I've made it into my car!"

I tried turning my wife towards car gifts but she just don't get it. So, I settled for her buying $40 shirts etc. so i justified buying $1800 Bogart's and a $600 driveshaft lol. No complaints for her as long as the Saturday shopping is still OK.

JLT CAI and TUnes Installed

I finally installed the JLT and loaded up some tunes from Brenspeed tonight. I haven't had any time to properly check out the combo,,,,,,,, yet.
The wife and I are going outta town this weekend, up to Austin, and I'll see how much of a difference this combo is going to make.

I'll report once I get back.
