Annual Mileage. How Much Do You Drive?

27k miles/yr...

I was kinda stunned by how much I've driven since I moved back to the states. In 3.4 years, I've driven my Saturn 58k miles, my truck 26k miles, my last mustang 6k miles. The truck is primarily towing and utility. Rarely daily it. 3 moves. 5 trips OH or KY to Dallas. 2-3 trips out to VA. 1 BIG move out to California. I still don't know where the rest of the miles came from. I don't know how much I've driven my black mustang since the racepack has no odometer. Maybe a couple thousand miles. But that would all add up to 92k miles in 3.4 years for ~27k miles/yr.

I'm just kinda blown away by that number. Seems too high! I think I drove even more before that when I was in Germany because I usually traveled 500 mi. per weekend.

My work is less than 2 miles away. And my wife is maybe 5 miles. I'd say 7k total on my truck and Mustang. I put less than 1k per year on the Mustang, it only comes out on really nice days. Probably 12k for all vehicles.

My daily commute is 104 miles per day for work. I usually work 4 days a week. I put 36000 miles on my F150 last year before I got rid of it in December.

I commute 50 miles daily, but last year I had a project in San Antonio that I drove to once a week. Not a whole lot otherwise

20-25k miles a year. I know the average used to be 15k but more people seem to be driving more and longer for their commutes at least around me.

66 T-Bird saw maybe 25 miles last year
08 Bullitt saw about 450 miles
01 F-250 was about around 1,500 miles
16 Focus right at 8,000 miles
Saleen drag car clocked about 35 miles, by far the most fun behind the wheel per mile than the rest combined.

This year is gonna be a whole different animal.

To and from work, only about 18 miles round trip per day. While at work, about 35k a year. Personal truck sees about 18k a year, Mustang, probably not even 1k a year.

My wife drives hers about 15k yr.
