Another AOD-T5 swap question

alright guys Ive already completed the swap, aod out t5 in. But the car wont start I left the jumper wire for the NSS on the pedals jumpered but It wont start.I think its because the 4 way prong wire in the picture(thanks to repo styles pics) that I modified circling the plug in red can some one tell me how to rig the wire to work with the t-5 please!

That plug there is the reverse lights and NSS plug. It's a 4-wire plug that plugs into this little 1-foot plug that plugs onto the side of the t-5. The NSS has a small jumper.



To start the car, either get the above harness, or jump out the NSS wires. I'd have to search to see which colors the wires are.

The wires you need to jump together @ the trans tunnel are the pink/white wires.

Laurel Mountain Mustang - 1987 - 1993 Mustang Manual Transmission Back-Up Light Harness

buy this plug it in the the two prongs on the t5 and that gray connector hanging and wha lha the car will start! I just did mine and had the same problem

well I figured out that if you dont want to spend any money you can cut and splice the one from the auto and it works...I didn't hook up the reverse lights because I didnt have the connector I needed but they are tied up and its drivable

Before I bought a manual harness, that is how I did mine, cut the old AOD connector plug off then spliced the pink/white wires together so the starter would work then purchased a pigtail to hook up the reverse lights later. I really did not need the manual harness, but I wanted to finally do it the correct and factory way.
