another build question. (didnt want to hijack)

I am currently running a vortech s-trim on my 03 gt. in the not to distant future i want to make something north of 550rwhp. my delima comes from the fact that i live in natzifornia (california). I need to run parts that at least have carb e.o numbers on them just incase a chp wants to take a look under my hood. with carb certed parts i will at least stand a chance of not being sent to a ref. with all this being said i have 2 build ideas and need some help from more experienced stangers. both include ported heads (either foxlake or mph) forged short block from livernoise with stage 1 blower cams.

1. I would send off my s-trim for a upgrade to a t-trim. vortech says they will leave my data plate with the carb e.o. number on it so that will be covered. I would also add vortechs aftercooler. some say 500rwhp with this unit and vortech says around 600-650ish. I know it will eventually become a restriction. but when? i cant seem to find any clear info on how much power i can make with this thing. running the aftercooler will also solve my issue with cooling the boost and appearing to be leagal since it is also carb legal.

2. I would sell my current engine (runs great) with my vortech and buy a 2.1 intercooled kb kit. this kit comes with a carb sticker so it will also appear legal. my question serounding this idea is can i get to 550rwhp with the 2.1? some says yes and some say no.

keep in mind that all this is geared tward "looking" legal. and smog checks arent a issue since i have a smog hook up already. thank.
