The 5.0 forum had a posting about a leather emergency brake boot, so I checked it out at http://www.redlinegoods.com/Mustang8793shiftboot.shtm

Ordered it and about 10 days later here she is

There sposed to have a ebrake cover!? lol

both mustangs i've owned didnt have them, who knew... oh well

The original is just a piece of rubber that borders the inside slit where the ebrake comes out. It is common for it to brake away from the console or rip. Is yours missing all together?
