I've recently had a new harddrive installed in my laptop and therefore had windows reinstalled and most of my new files moved over. It seems like my computer crashes everytime I try playing movies (using Media Player, Media player classic etc.) I upgraded my 3d card's driver and downloaded a codec pack and that seemed to work fine for a while but now it's doing the same thing again. The movie freezes up (can still hear the sound),Ctrl+alt+del doesn't work and the only way to get out of this is to hard restart the computer. I've tried uninstalling and restalling the media player several times and trying different versions but that doesn't seem to help either? Any ideas?
