another idle question

what make the idle surge and go low when i turn my air on? the car idles good at 900rpm but then when i turn the air on it drops to 700-750rpm. plus it surges up and down a couple hundred at idle too. when the air is off it runs great with no surges at all. NE1 have an idea?

I'd pull codes first - it's likely in my experience that you'll find either a limit code or that after you clean the IAC (or replace it) the issue abates.

It sounds like yours is just dirty or otherwise not working correctly. Clear the KAM after cleaning it (so it doesnt use the learned strategies from when the IAC was dirty).

i will have to try and replace it. i have cleaned it many times already not noticing any difference ever.
